"Thoughts are mental energy; they're the currency that you have to attract what you desire. Learn to stop spending that currency on thoughts you do not want"

EXCUSE MY CHARACTER
Excuse my character please, if you just can’t stand me being me
I said excuse my character please for standing up
and fighting for what I believe
Because I just refuse to accept your injustice, lies and
racial inequality
unprecedented genocide of people who have than you
systematic poverty; civil rights denied; by all means
judicial, medial and economic genocide.

Police brutality with no thoughts or recompense or the loved ones loss
Or the man or woman that died; you have no respect for human life
As you continually perpetuate the lies
Changing the narrative from what it was originally all about
All of your racial divisive isms and schisms—now hiding
Behind the misnomer of patriotism

Talking about making America great again; and the same ones
Who perpetrate these atrocities are the same as back then
And it just seems that the common people have no win

So excuse me for my character please, because you don’t
See what I see, and if you disagree it’s still alright with me
But we are a people who still are not truly free.

As long as you continue to rape, lynch, oppress and kill me,
Incarcerate me unjustly, telling me to go back to my own country;
While you cage my children on the docks of your bays,
When I ask for information, you have nothing to say

Broken families, because we came in search of a better life
But all we got in return was hatred pain and strife;
So EXCUSE MY CHARACTER PLEASE
But these things just can’t continue to be
If we are really going to be GREAT, it has to include everybody
Otherwise the only great we are is GREATLY DECEIVED

SO EXCUSE MY CHARACTER PLEASE.

Pastor Leona Ross of both New Deliverance Ministry IDC, in Quincy, Florida; and Zion Praise and Worship IDC in Monticello, Florida.  Raised up under the tutelage of Apostle James Lorenza Rutledge, of True Wisdom New Hope Ministries, IDC EPC, which is currently being established as a church on the move to save a generation.  Pastor Ross attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, and then went on to Xavier University where she acquired a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts in Professional Communications.
She is also a mother of five sons and one daughter and 14 grandchildren. She is also a writer, who writes poetry, essays, plays and short stories.  Her work and passion is outreach ministry.  Pastor Ross is often found on the streets of Quincy Florida ministering and encouraging people; as well as feeding them both physically and spiritually through the Word of GOD.
When asked why things seem so easy for her and difficult for others; Pastor Ross stated “it is just simple obedience to leadership.  Not saying that I get it right all the time; but I know that it works-- I am the evidence of the words spoken by the Apostle and Pastor Rutledge”. Pastor Ross truly believes as knows that as a unified Body of Christ of believers together we will build the vision God has given our Leader.
