When it’s important to you, you don’t make excuses, you make time
You make time for the phone call you promised to make,
You make time for the pray you were supposed to pray, for that
Special person you said GOD sent your way.
When it’s important to you, it doesn’t come as an afterthought
It’s not a last minute, birthday, anniversary, or holiday gift, bought,
You keep your promises and you stand by your word,
Nothing gets in the way and it’s never deferred
When it’s important to you, I love you is not so hard to say,
Your love is expressed with all sincerity, and shown every day.
You make sure that someone knows, no need to guess
When it’s important to you, you give your all, you give your best.
When its important to you, were talking relationships here
You hold them close in your heart, always want them near
When they are important, nothing comes before or against
When its real love spares no expense---
So am I important to you, I ask because I don’t this so
I ask because I really want to know,
Beyond love, beyond the occasional hug and kiss
Casual conversation, and time spent,
I ask because these are the things I miss.
Interview with K. Smith
KS: Why Radio?
Mr. Talk: Something I always wanted to do. I like to connect with new people.
KS: What interests you most with this industry?
Mr. Talk: I'm not just giving information out to the people, I'm learning from them and they're learning from me.
KS: So we can talk about anything on your show?
Mr. Talk: (Laughing) Yes, we're grown here. Nothing is off limits. We can discuss relationships, politics, religion, and corporal punishment for example. These are topics people want to talk about, so we do and we have fun.
KS: Does anyone ever challenge your research or information?
Mr. Talk: Yes, all the time. My motto is, "Don't believe me, research on your own."
But most people tell me, "because of the show I learned something I didn't know."
KS: Politics. That's heavy. Do you have female and male listeners?
Mr. Talk: Yes, but I want to attract more female listeners. Women have so much to say about so many things in today's society. They just need a place to say it, why not my show? they will be heard and respected at all times.
KS: OK, Thank you for your time. I wish you well.
Mr. Talk: Thank you, I enjoy what I do.
